Whether you’re a Statistician, Researcher or Economist you’ll play a leading role in developing and maintaining relationships with key users in central and local government, as well as the wider statistical community. You’ll be working on the design and production of surveys and other sources of data, interpreting the latest trends, and producing analysis and reports for government, researchers and citizens. In short, you’ll have your finger on the very pulse of UK society.

What qualifications do I need?

As a Statistician or Researcher you’ll have a 2:2 degree or above in a numerate discipline, or social science with a significant research methods, social policy or statistics component. We’ll also accept another relevant social research, statistical or economics qualification at the appropriate level.

For our Economist roles we’re looking for a minimum of a 2:1 (or a 2:2 with a postgraduate degree) in Economics.  Naturally you’ll also need to have studied both macro and microeconomics.

Graduate & Experienced Graduate

For graduate entry level, no relevant work experience is required. However you’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to apply what you’ve learnt. As an experienced graduate you’ll also have some relevant work experience, enabling you to:-
